Set 2

Home of Granny Daviso

This humble home in Tinli has been in the Daviso family for generations, and each generation has added their own touches. Granny Daviso lives there now. She's the last of the Davisos. Her life has been a quiet one, spent mostly alone, but she has grown close to her neighbor's youngest daughter, Matilde, and it is to her that she will leave her home, starting a new chapter in the house's history.

Defense Tower

Cordica’s shores are dotted with towers waving their blue and white flag, a clear reminder to their neighbors to the south that if Cordica was or ever will be part of the Masconian Empire, it currently is not. Although Cordica is sparsely populated, the few that live there seem to personify Cordica’s harsh climate and rugged environment. No one living has seen armed conflict in their lifetimes, but still they keep their towers fortified and ready.

Titus Towers

The Titus Towers stand proudly on the riverbank, the tallest structures in Bridgetown. From the windows, you can see the town’s claim to fame—the enormous bridge that spans the rushing river. One of the residents in the north tower is Parin L’Fengo. Parin’s apartment doesn’t face the river, it looks out towards the mountains that were once Parin’s home. He mostly enjoys the view and the bittersweet memories it evokes, but other days he has to close the blinds.

Girfalo's Tallest Towers

Vicromia and her husband Nico were one of the first to sign up to live in Grifalo’s new and shockingly tall ten-story apartments. Many of their family and friends warned them against it, insisting that it couldn’t be safe, but they laughed off these worries. Now that they’ve settled in, Vicromia loves to boast of their view and the elegance of living up high, though privately she bemoans the misery of so many stairs

Captain Sincrae's Home

Captain Sincrae built this home in the Harid Hills after retiring from life at sea. He had never much liked being on a ship, but he was a devoted builder, expanding his home each year until he died. Slowly, a town grew up around him, and the town was called Sincrae Town in his honor. Captain Sincrae’s home is now at the town’s center and has been converted into much sought-after apartments.

Lomark City's Carminia Neighborhood

There is very little in Lomark City that doesn’t nestle itself along the Great Terio River or one of its tributaries. The Carminia neighborhood is no exception and can be found along a quiet inlet. The residents often decorate their balconies with flowers and enjoy warm evenings floating in small watercraft built for two.

Cranefish Town Tower

This building was built in Cranefish Town during a surge in population caused by turmoil in the neighboring Masconian Empire. It’s still as sturdy as ever, a testament to the construction skills that the refugees brought with them. One of the tower’s most famous residents was the storyteller Nadya. The memorial garden planted in her honor is the site of Cranefish Town’s annual storytelling festival.

Komoko City's Institute of Learning

Komoko City would like to be known as the home of a thriving art scene and forward-thinking engineering. This glamorous orange glass edifice can be found at their renowned institute of learning. With the recent movement of many idealists out to the Cratic Desert to build the “city of wonders” (Cerapion City) Komoko City has struggled to retain their most talented citizens.

Masconia, Northeast Side

Although the Masconian Empire is divided into a web of complicated towns and neighborhoods, to outsiders it is all the urban warren of Masconia. Most Masconian neighborhoods are densely populated with their signature 4-story apartment homes side-by-side. To the locals though, each neighborhood is dramatically distinct. The northeast side is a bleak area distinguishable mostly by what isn’t there.

Chipnob Neighborhood

On the northern fringes of the Masconian Empire, the colorful neighborhood of Chipnob is the home to a ragtag group of musicians who seek out old songs and bring them back into circulation. Recently, they’ve come into scrutiny for a ballad with roots in the Zies region that was seen by some as poking a bit too much fun at the emperor. The musicians have since been more circumspect in their selections, or perhaps just more discreet.

Chipnob Neighborhood

Jinsede lives in the colorful Chipnob neighborhood in the Masconian Empire. To make ends meet, she has become a woman of all work, making repairs of all kinds, sweeping streets, making deliveries, and any other work she can get. Recently, she made a delivery to a young man by the name of Smikos, and she was instantly smitten. While trying to think of an excuse to see him again, she was surprised when he approached her with an invitation to lunch.

Home of Milia van Tikotanko

This sweet little house in Pintecho City is the home of Doctor Milia van Tikotanko. Milia is proud of her home and likes to admire it from all angles, puttering out in the garden or dusting and preening indoors. People who don’t know her well don’t understand how long she had to wait and how hard she had to work to have a home of her own. They don’t know that she was one of nine siblings who had rarely had a space to herself until now.

Temple of the All-Seeing

If you were to travel North along the coast from Rakolan, you would encounter this unusual structure built as a temple and monastery to the All-Seeing God. Visitors must make a challenging journey to seek out the wisdom of the All-Seeing’s acolytes. Those who do arrive are blindfolded at the gate and only given their sight back upon exiting.

Abandoned (?) Home

In the outskirts of Zellini Town, a solitary house keeps watch over the hillside. It’s empty now, but not quite abandoned, as it is rumored that it is used not just by travelers and wildlife but is also the home of a Tengili-Amano. Tengili-Amano are shy and reclusive but there have been enough sightings to give credence to the tale.

Ixari Tower

On the edge of the Ixari Desert, not far from the Chimari Chasm, the Ixari tower keeps a lonely vigil. The tower was abandoned for many years, a relic from a long-forgotten conflict. But now the priest, Exolio, has claimed it for the God of Quiet, and his followers make their silent pilgrimages there each year.

Home of Dinabi, Mari, and Sons

The people of Polvedo like to say that, "To live in Polvedo, is to live in paradise." And it is true that the pleasant warm climate, pristine beaches, and an unusually wealthy, laid back ruler has kept this little city-state a remarkably comfortable place to live. This is the home of Dinabi, his wife Mari, and their two sons, who all work together on their fishing boat and enjoy the good life that Polvedo has to offer.

Home of Mellov and Triniva

Hidden in the Revitsar Mountains, just outside of Topi Village, is the home of the wizarding couple, Mellov and Triniva. The villagers are protective of their odd neighbors and are selective in assisting any strangers seeking them out. Mellov and Triniva share a fascination with experimentation and the acquisition of knowledge more than the practical applications of their craft, but do use their spells when called on for the good of the village.

Itta's House

The renowned poet Itta once wrote about her home in Walkia Bluffs: “I have built my house on the hill. I have built my house on the mountain. I have built my house deep beneath the earth. When the rains come the windows shine and when the sun comes my heart fills with delight.” Actually, her house is built on the plains, not far from the coastline.

Mivka-Madila Temple Gate

The temple gate of Mivka-Madila is hard to find. Not only is it on Brolia, the furthest south of the Western Isles, but it is well hidden in the Brolia mountains. And if you make it to Brolia, there are still dense jungles, fast-flowing rivers, and tall mountains to climb. So few have seen it, that many consider its existence to be a myth and the stories of the heroics of Mivak-Madila to be fairy tales.

Tornika Towers

Tornika Towers was built by the artist/architect duo, Malaga and Victo. It is the last known of their works to remain standing. It is carefully preserved and protected by the people of Angla on the island of Dolinia. In fact, the Dolinians have adopted it as a center of their worship practices, gathering around it on their holy days, burning incense at its base and polishing it only under very precise circumstances with an appointed team.

Towers of Levia

The ruined towers at the center of Levia are impressive monuments to a distant past. Little is known about the people who lived there, let alone the history of the buildings themselves. The unique construction and unusual materials have sent many a historian, archeologist, and treasure hunter out across the sea to investigate, but so far, no answers have been found.
